Prepare for winter!
Last winter we experienced the worst weather that Britain has seen for around 25 years which led to freezing pipes and boiler breakdowns. This resulted in a higher than expected volume of repairs and out-of-hours calls. This year, our gas contractor, PH Jones, has taken steps to help them be more prepared if this winter is as harsh as last year.
We'd also like to show tenants how you can help by watching these How To Guides from British Gas on how to prepare for winter and even fix minor problems yourself.
Sheltered dwellings and flats for the over 50s available
Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing has a range of sheltered accommodation across the borough with some sheltered courts in the centre of Loughborough and others in the surrounding villages of Sileby, Rothley Shepshed, Barrow Mountsorrel, Syston, Birstall, Thurmaston and Anstey.
There are also flats across the borough of Charnwood which are specifically for residents over 50 years old. Click on the leaflet below for further information.
