Charnwood Lifeline is available to anyone who lives within the Borough, managed by Warden Services. The scheme works by installing a "Lifeline" and converting your current phone. All you need is a telephone socket and a 13amp power point. The alarm comes with a pendant, which can be used up to 100 metres away.
By pressing the red button on the alarm telephone or the pendant you will send a signal directly to the Control Centre where trained staff will answer your call, assess the situation and take any necessary action.

The lifeline service gives security and peace of mind 24 hours a day 365 days a year at a very modest cost.
The Control Operator will contact (as required), your family, a friend, emergency services or GP on your behalf or alternatively an On-Call Response Operative will attend in an effort to get the help you require. We will also fit a key safe to the outside of your property for emergency services access.
If you have any queries or require further information on lifeline please telephone (01509) 643970. Alternatively, we can arrange for the Lifeline Warden to visit you and give a no obligation demonstration, so you can see how the system works.
