We will:

• Provide a detailed explanation of the Tenancy Agreement to all new tenants at sign up and provide a Tenants Handbook.
• Visit you at home within 15 working days of your new tenancy commencing to ensure you have settled into the property.
• Conduct a Tenancy Audit on 20% of the housing stock annually to ensure we hold updated household information and undertake tenancy checks.
• Respond within 24 hours to reports of abandoned properties
• Reply with a decision within 20 working days to all applications to carry out improvements to your home.
• Visit you at home regarding transfer requests and pass the application to the Council for registration within 30 working days.
• Provide you with a decision within 20 working days if you apply to succeed to a tenancy or if you wish to assign your tenancy to somebody else.
• Investigate all cases of illegal occupation and take appropriate action swiftly to ensure the occupants are removed.
