On 11 September 2008 the Housing Income Team in conjunction with Aon Home Contents Insurance, are hosting a financial inclusion event called Money, Money, Money, at the Town Hall in Loughborough between 10 am – 2.00 pm.

The aim of the event is to give tenants and applicants to the housing register, the opportunity to meet local service providers such as the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, The Bridge Housing Services, Clock Wise Credit Union, HSBC, Housing Benefits and many more, access their services for money advice, assistance with banking and access to affordable credit.

National press has highlighted the change to the economy over the last 6 months as the cost of living has increased. More families and individuals are struggling to make the income cover their bills and are accessing loans from expensive providers, such as door step lenders, making it even harder to pay primary bills such as rent, council tax and utility bills.

So if you are struggling to make ends meet, would like some advice regarding debts, would like to access affordable credit (terms and conditions apply) or find out more about what benefits you maybe entitled to, come along on 11 September to this free event and see how your local services can benefit you.
