If your current accommodation is no longer suitable for your needs there are a number of options available to you.

Applying for a Transfer

If you want to move from your home to another home managed by Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing, or another Housing Association within Charnwood you can apply for a transfer.

The Housing Needs team within Charnwood Borough Council administer the Housing Register including transfer applications.

HomeSwapper’s professional mutual exchange service is the UK’s largest community of tenants actively looking to swap home. Everyday HomeSwapper automatically searches for potential swaps.

If you do not have access to the internet, you can fill out a paper application at our offices based at the Council Offices, Southfield Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire.

If you register with HomeSwapper, HomeSwapper will send you an alert for potential swaps as often as twice a week.

You can look for mutual exchanges both locally and nationally.
