The Housing Income Team for Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing manages the following services for tenants:
Rent Accounts
Debit and credits made to your rent account, how your rent and service charges are calculated and how you can pay your rent.
Rent Arrears
Repayment arrangements and actions taken to recover debt. Find out more about Rent Arrears
Money Advice
Our Tenancy Support team is able to assist tenants regarding benefits which they may be entitled to and assists with making claims. They are also able to help you manage your budget using our Money Management Self Help Guide.

Former Tenant Arrears
Rents outstanding to Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing after a tenant has moved out.

Recharges for Repairs
Tenants who have damaged their properties will be recharged for the cost of the repairs. These charges are recovered by the Housing Income Team.
Garage Rent
Rent charges for the use of garages let throughout the borough.
Home Contents Insurance
Tenant can apply for affordable Home Contents Insurance which can be paid for with your rent weekly. The policy offers tenants accidental cover for a slightly higher weekly charge.
Working in Partnership
The Housing Income Team works in partnership with The Bridge Housing Advice Service and Clockwise Credit Union. The Bridge provides independent advice to housing tenants regarding action taken for rent arrears. If you would like more information regarding their services visit The Bridge. Clockwise Credit Union provides an instant access bank account, savings accounts and low cost loans to all Charnwood residents subject to their terms and conditions. You can also visit our offices at Southfield Road, Loughborough between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am until 4:30pm Friday. If you call in without an appointment you may have to wait for an officer to become available.
