CNH are now charging tenants who damage their properties to cover the cost of repairing or replacing damaged items. Damage to CNH properties which is not considered to be fair ware and tare, will be photographed and a bill coving the cost of work and an administration fee will be sent to the tenants of the property.
Many tenants keep their properties in excellent condition and only need to ask for repairs when something has broken as the fixture or fitting has been in place for a reasonable length of time. These are considered to be genuine replacements and no recharge for these works will be made.
Tenants who fail to pay the cost of the recharges could find themselves with a County Court Judgements to recover the debt outstanding which could prevent them from accessing credit from other providers in future.
