Director of Investment and Regeneration – Steve Wilson

Steve Wilson
Steve has 20 years experience in the Construction industry, He entered the affordable housing sector in 1994 after closing his own successful plumbing and heating business, and has worked for Mansfield District Council, Ashfield District Council, then Ashfield Homes the leading 3 Star "Excellent rated" Nottinghamshire ALMO for 8 years in various management positions. More recently Steve was employed as Asset Manager for Berneslai Homes, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council’s successful 2 Star ALMO, and was responsible for the repairs and maintenance for over 20,000 homes and an annual budget of over £18 Million. Steve has a Masters Degree in Construction Management and brings many years of experience of working within successful ALMO's to Charnwood. Steve is determined to make Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing a success and is enjoying the current challenges of improving the Repairs service and delivering Decent Homes improvements to tenants homes.

Director of Housing Operations – Isobel Rickard

Isobel Rickard
Isobel Rickard joined Charnwood as Head of Housing Services in April from Kensington and Chelsea TMO. Kensington and Chelsea were awarded three stars excellent last year by the Audit Commission and are known nationally as leading practitioners in the field of anti-social behaviour. Isobel has spoken at a number of national conferences on a variety of topics, including once at the request of the Home Office and she also featured in a government think tank publication last year as an original voice for change in public service delivery.

Maintenance Programmes Manager - Talvinder Mehta

Talvinder Mehta
Tal was appointed as Maintenance Programmes Manager in February 2007. He previously worked for Derby Homes, a three star ALMO, where he was the Asset Management Coordinator working on the highly successful Homespride Improvement programme delivering £115 million of improvements to the housing stock within 3 years.
Tal has considerable experience in building maintenance and achieved an Honours Degree in Construction Management.
He has experience of working in all areas of housing maintenance, including responsive repairs dealing with day-to-day repairs in tenant’s homes, cyclical maintenance, including stock condition surveys and capital improvement programmes.
Tal’s particular skill is in the setting up and interrogation of asset databases, contract specifications and large scale projects.
Tal is looking forward to delivering high quality improvements to our tenants’ homes by working closely with CNH staff, Tenants and Leaseholders, bringing his experience of delivering major projects, to create long term partnerships to deliver an excellent service.

Housing Maintenance Manager – Glenn Cockle

Glenn Cockle
Glenn has over 34 years in the construction industry of which 29 years have been spent in Local Government here at Charnwood. During this time he has held various management positions and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in building maintenance and of the housing stock in Charnwood.
Glenn was appointed Housing Maintenance Manager in August 2007, and is now responsible for the management of the Housing Repairs Service with a budget in the region of 5.3million, which includes responsive repairs, void property repairs, cyclical planned maintenance and gas servicing and breakdowns.
Glenn is looking forward to the challenge of his new role and ensuring that Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing is a success and delivers a first rate first time repair service to all our customers.

Housing Income Team leader - Gwyneth Gascoigne

Gwyneth is responsible for dealing with all rental charges and balances on rent accounts for all types of tenancies including Secure, introductory, None Secure, Private Sector Lease properties, Bed and Breakfasts and the hostel. She also manages rechargeable repairs and former tenant debts. The team is split into two sections, debt recovery and rent control.
Gwyneth has 10 Years experience in Housing Management with a degree in Housing Studies and is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Lifeline Control Centre Team Leader - Lesley Kiayias

Lesley Kiayias
Lesley has a wealth of experience in Warden Services having started work in 1976 as a Resident Warden, progressing on to becoming a Mobile Warden. Lesley is currently the Lifeline Control Centre Team Leader and has recently accepted the Acting Warden Services Manager post.
She lives in Loughborough and looks forward to using all her experience in conjunction with others to ensure the success of Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing.
